Elizabeth Bayou-Grace, human

Elizabeth Bayou-Grace (she/her), born in 1988 to a massive, loving family, is a proud resident of the best state in the union, Massachusetts. She's married to a 6'2 Texan professionally known as Brokestring & the Empty Promises. Together, they care for a nervous dog and an ancient cat. Elizabeth holds a BA from Warren Wilson College and an MFA from a university that gave her a great education but is currently bending the knee fascism. She's published one book of poetry with her father. When not doing various writing related activities, Elizabeth loves weaving on her loom and strumming on her Gretsch. She's the proud aunt of 17 incredible humans. Elizabeth unequivocally believes all humans are created equal. Elizabeth is currently working on a full-length memoir about coming of age in a disabled body.  She also has a twice-a-week newsletter called Poetry is Politics where Elizabeth explores how community and art can be active forms of resistance.
